The Compleat Angler by Izaak Walton

This custom clamshell enclosure was made to house a repaired 1676 edition of The Compleat Angler. Covered in Teal Pentland goat and various leather onlays. Both blind and gold tooled with 22k gold leaf. Jason handmade the brass handtools used for the spots seen on the trout. His hand-marbled paper, with a pattern that closely resembles river rocks, was used for both the outer enclosure tray and the endpapers of the repaired book enclosed.
