Full leather laced-in boards binding. Bound in Hewits soft blue Bookcalf, with inlays of wood veneer and treated leather, and with an onlay of stingray from board to board and free at spine. Edge-to-edge paper doublures, with flyleaves the same. Natural edges. Hand sewn silk endbands. Untitled.

"I bound The Helen Fragments with the thought of Helen standing at the prow of a ship, headed towards a fate decided by violent men. I wanted her to be found in the curves of the wooden forms, fractured apart by another war."
